2026 Color Run/Walk: A BIG Success

May 16th at 9:30 A.M. was the start time for the race. On the dot, an explosion of color filled Lucy Park to start the first annual Grandmomma Wears Pink Color Run/Walk! The morning had started rough with wind carrying posters and decorations into muddy puddles, but the weather didn't ruin the color run! Everyone at the event was genuinely excited and happy to be at the event. All of the smiles and joy made the event fun. The kickoff or color explosion was the perfect start to the race.

This was the start of the race! The color kickoff was AWESOME!

Immense Support

There were over 100 participants at this event, including volunteers. This support helped raise $4,800! I am so thankful for all of the kind words, money donated, and time others contributed to help me pull off this event. I was nervous about this big goal, but with the support of others, anything can truly be accomplished.
